Tag Question হলো বাক্যের শেষে যোগ করা ছোট একটি প্রশ্ন, যা মূল বক্তব্যটি নিশ্চিত করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।

🔰 Structure:

• প্রদত্ত বাক্য, Auxiliary Verb + Subject?

📌 Example:

• You are happy, aren’t you?
• She can swim, can’t she?

SSC, HSC ও Job Exam এ Tag question এ ভালো করতে হলে অবশ্যই Auxiliary Verb এর Constructed Negative form জানতে হবে। নিচে সবকিছুর উদাহরণসহ Tag Questions : Basic PDF ডাউনলোডের ব্যবস্থা করা হলো।

is+not →isn’t

am+not→ ain’t/aren’t

are+not →aren’t

was+ not →wasn’t

were +not→ weren’t

do+ not →don’t

does+ not→ doesn’t

did+ not →didn’t

have +not→ haven’t

has+ not →hasn’t

had+ not→ hadn’t

will +not→ won’t

shall+ not→ shan’t

cannot→ can’t

could +not →couldn’t

would+ not→ wouldn’t

should+ not→ shouldn’t

must+ not→ mustn’t

may not→ mayn’t

Might not→ mightn’t…………

🔰 Assertive Sentence

Affirmative statement হলে Tag হবে Negative, Negative হলে Affirmative হবে।

Structure:

• প্রদত্ত বাক্য, aux + not (প্রয়োজনে) + pronoun?

Examples:

• She is a teacher, isn’t she?
• Rahim doesn’t plays cricket, does he?

🔰 Imperative Sentence

📌 Verb দিয়ে শুরু হলে সাধারণত Tag হয় will you? / won’t you?

Examples:

• Open the door, will you?
• Help me, will you?

📌 Don’t + verb থাকলে হবে will you?

Examples:

• Don’t make noise, will you?
• Don’t be late, will you?
